iperf3
Custom scripts for Iperf3 in OpenWRT devices, to be placed in the file system:
- /etc/init.d/iperfd (to integrate the application into the system's init)
- /usr/bin/iperfd (to execute iperf3 as a daemon, either manually or via system's init)
In their most basic form, these scripts were made for a x86_64 VM, but should be able to run on pretty much any physical device with OpenWRT.
It's possible to develop these scripts further, in order to leverage the device's leds and buttons. That way, the daemon can be launched or deactivated by pressing a button on the device, and a led will on or off, according to the service status.
The folders here correspond to devices in which I have implemented this expansion
